The best times, if you’re not tethered to a school schedule is the Spring and the Fall. But Winter too has its charms.
Recently renovated and freshly furnished, Piazzetta has everything you need for a comfortable and stylish stay. An excellent base to travel from, or simply hang out. A third floor walkup, the entrance way opens to a spacious open floor plan with furnished kitchen, dining area an living room with TV. Italian ceramics and marble throughout. There are two bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with twin beds (can be put together). Each bedroom is en suite. Double has a bathroom with tub and hand held shower attachment. Twin has a bathroom with shower. Central heating for cooler months and a small room has washing machine and iron for clothes.

This area is very special with its mix of glamorous yet relaxed people, luxury villas, nature trails, village fairs, castle walks, yacht harbor and everywhere you look the turquoise sea. Great for traveling up and down the coast. French Riviera is not far, nor is Tuscany. It is best to stay here without a car and use public transportation. In fact a car would be an unnecessary burden. Trains and buses will take you from Portofino to nearby villages, and a train connects them to Liguria and the world. The local train runs from Santa Margherita to the Cinque Terre and a public bus between S.Margherita to Portofino.
