Italian Villas Rentals Layaway Payment Program
As the American public begins to transition from the use of credit to the use of cash, Italian Villa Rentals brings you the ability to pay for your rental over time.
The Villa Layaway Payment Plan, allows you to payoff your rental over time, and only applies to those rentals where the owner has agreed to allowing this type of payment. Typical to the "old fashioned" layaway before credit cards, you make monthly payments on a house rather than two large payments. Please note: THERE IS A SMALL PROCESSING FEE FOR THIS PLAN. That fee is $50 and covers the additional handling on our end, as well as additional wiring fees to the owner.
Requirement: 25% down payment plus processing fee via credit card or paid by check or ACH (US only). Monthly payments via check only.
Here's an example:
- Your rental is 3650 euro for the week of September 15. That week is 6 months from the date of confirmation.
- 6 month - 60 days prior to arrival equals 4 months of payment beyond the initial 25% deposit.
- Processing fee is 50 USD
Payments
- 912 euro (20%) is paid to confirm on Feb 4, 2009. Rate on that day is 1.30 dollars to 1 euro. The amount due by credit card or cash is 1186 + 50 USD + Cancellation Insurance (912 euro x 1.3 = 1186 dollars).
- Balance of the rental is 2738 euro. Each of four months a payment of 684.50 euro paid in USD at spot rates are due.
This layaway plan PROVIDES NO REFUND ON CANCELLATIONS. Therefore we add insurance on to the total amount. That insurance is to be paid in full at time of initial deposit, and is electable. You do not have to pay it, but it is highly recommended. The cost is 6.95% of the rental.
