Villa Vista dei Sogni located in Laveno on Lake Maggiore. Italian Villa Rental Vista dei Sogni, Maggiore built in 1930 by a well known Italian family, is spacious and full of atmosphere. The interiors are Italian Classic style with marble tables and decorated wall papers. Most of the furniture is designed and handmade for the Villa. Most rooms have lake views and on the ground floor the rooms have direct access to the terraces and gardens. Style, space and impressive views round out this particularly nice rental estate. In fact Villa Vista dei Sogni has everything you need including a large swimming pool, directly on the waterfront of Laveno, a lively town on the Eastern shore of Lake Maggiore. The property has direct access to the water through its 150 meters private beach (Please note that by Italian law private beaches, although perhaps not reachable by foot, can be accessed and used by others arriving by boat from the lake. All beachfronts are public). Because the estate is on the lakeside of the lake road, at the end of a dead-end street and at the edge of Laveno, you get a very quiet atmosphere with the most beautiful view, and only 15 minutes walking distance from the center of Laveno. Our charming villa is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday with memorable excursions. This is perfect if you seek privacy, space, affordable luxury, a pool, waterfront and walk to town. Like we said this has everything.
At the entrance of the property there is a dependence which once housed the villa guardian - and for this reason it is located just at the entrance of the estate. Today it is also available for rent, possibly by a separate group. Guests renting the dependance, if not affliated with those renting the villa, are not allowed to use the pool or access to the garden unless the whole estate is rented by the same group of people. From the garden a path (about 150 steps of stone) leads down to the lake and the rocky beach. The whole park measures a staggering 22000 sq.meters. Note that it is a fairly steep path on which persons with walking difficulties or elderly people will have difficulty to navigate.

The six bathrooms are equipped with bathtub or shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet. Nine bedrooms provide ample sleeping accommodation for 10 persons.
GROUND FLOOR
Large entrance hall with a spacious stairway, spacious living room with double sitting area and a marble fire place and French doors opening towards the garden. Kitchen with large dining table for 12 persons with French doors, dining room for 6 persons with French doors, connecting room. The kitchen is fully equipped with American coffee machine, Espresso coffee maker, microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas range.
A washing machine and a dryer are located in a storage room accessible from the garden. One double bedroom with direct entrance to a terrace and gardens through French doors and adjacent bathroom with bathtub, one single bedroom, one small bedroom with a baby bed, one bathroom with shower.
FIRST FLOOR
21 steps to the first floor. One double bedroom with adjacent bathroom with double sink and bathtub, one double bedroom with washbasin, one single bedroom, one bathroom with shower, storage room, and stairs to the second floor (the stairs are very narrow, 60 cm). All bedrooms have direct entrance through French doors to two large terraces.
TOP FLOOR One twin bedroom, one double bedroom, one bedroom with FrenchÊ bed - two bathrooms with shower, storage room. Please note that the decorations of this floor are very simple.

Arrive & Relax Package provided: Welcome dinner prepared (pasta, vegetable tarte, salad, fruit salad, bread, water and wine - no menu change possible) and basic first day stocking (milk, cafe, tea, bread, biscuits, sugar, salt, water, fruit, eggs, oil, butter, jam, orange juice, cereals. No additional items possible, and items subject to availability.
Additional costs to consider: Security deposit 1500 € (plus 200 € utility deposit per week), final cleaning included, 3 hours maid service Wed/Sat for rentals more than a week and change of bath and bed linens on Wed/Sat included, gas (heat) additional. Has portable fans. Baby's bed 100 €, an extra bed (to sleep an additional 1 - 2 people 300 € per week, no pets allowed. Telephone local calls only. Has WiFi at no additional cost. Maggiore straddles the Lombardy-Piemonte border and reaches into southern Switzerland providing a new dimension to travel while staying on the lake, and in the region. MaggioreÕs development as a holiday destination began in 1800 when the Simplon road from Genova to Milano skirted its shores. Making the lake a natural resting spot. Maggiore is unique unto itself as it has a more peaceful and subdued demeanor. It is neither as resort-like as Garda, nor does it have the mountain views of Como or the petite ambience of Orta. But Maggiore has the advantage of easy access to the ring road that connects to Switzerland, and the Autostrada which rubs north/south. Two castles that occupy small islands off-shore deserve closer inspection: Somma Lombardo hosts one at the southern end of Lago Maggiore and Angera on the eastern shore hosts a 13th century castle that is still in the hands of the original Borromeo family whom "owned" the southern half of Maggiore during older times. From Maggiore you can drive over to Lake Orta through a low mountain pass in about 45 minutes. It makes for a nice day trip and Orta is one sweet lake. Malpensa is about 45 minutes from mid lake as well. Laveno is a small and relaxed tourist town with most shopping facilities, many restaurants and where during the whole year a lot of activities are organised. From here it is possible to catch the ferry boat to the Western side of the lake (Stresa, Pallanza and more) and to the Borromeo Islands famous for their enchanted beauty. Here you will also find any sort of shops included supermarket, banks, post office and pharmacy. From Laveno it is possible to reach by train Varese and Milano in less than an hour. Angera with its Borromeo Castle is at 30 minutes drive as well as the romantic Sanctuary of Santa Caterina del Sasso.
